Get Help

No matter what you’re facing,
you deserve to be connected to help.

” I wasn’t doing things that I could be proud of myself for. I just felt like there was more I could have been focusing on to help my family grow. And now I’m doing that. I’m happy with the decisions I’m making because it’s making me a better person. I enjoy that because it’s fun just being a dad. That’s what I am really focusing on right now, just working and being daddy.”

First Fruits Market is revolutionizing food assistance by providing a dignified shopping experience for those in need. Unlike traditional pre-packaged food box distributions, this store offers a Free Full Choice Model, allowing individuals to select from a wide array of over 100 food items. Operated by the Central California Food Bank, the emphasis on choice reflects their commitment to serving the community with the utmost dignity.

In addition to essential groceries, the market offers resources like CalFresh enrollment, nutrition information, recipe cards, and cooking demos. Central California Food Bank Co-CEO Kym Dildine emphasizes that this approach empowers individuals to make choices that align with their unique dietary needs, fostering a more dignified emergency food assistance program.
